Living Out Loud has been one of my mantras for several years. I believe that every human being deserves to live life the way they see fit and to do so unapologetically. Of course, that presupposes they’re not a predator of some time. I kid! Honestly, though, I believe that most people are good and that most people only seek to add value to the world by being the best versions of themselves. However, we live in a world where for many of us the game is rigged and the obstacles that are put in front of us are often…
John and the Hole is a psychological thriller, centering around a teenage boy who drugs and drops his family into an incomplete fallout shelter (the hole).
The movie has great cinematography, not too dark and gloomy, perfect for the theme. It’s a thriller so the lighting isn’t bright and sunny but it’s not a hard core Texas Chainsaw kind of scary thriller either. In fact, I wouldn’t really call this movie scary at all.
